Dalehead Equine Veterinary Practice

This well established equine practice comprises a team of five vets and two consultants with a dedicated interest in equine work. We cover an area extending from South Cumbria, North Yorkshire and into North and East Lancashire.

Consultations by appointment – surgeries are run between 8.30am and 10.30am and 3.30pm and 5.30pm Mon. to Fri. by appointment for clients wishing to bring their animals in to Rathmell for all types of routine work (vaccinations, dentistry, lameness workup, etc). The vet is on site with all equipment to hand thus saving the client the cost of a visit. We also offer a discount of 10% for work paid for at the time of the appointment.

The practice has its own dedicated equine surgical and treatment facility.

The practice has BEVA approved premises for equine artificial insemination and equine treatment facilities at End House Stud in Gisburn.

With the backup of our nursing team and state of the art surgical and examination facilities, we are able to offer a progressive first opinion and referral service.
